What’s New on the SIG

  • Sept. 9 The 2016 IAJGS conference in Seattle was a great success. Read more about it, the Belarus SIG Annual Meeting, and Ron Doctor's luncheon presentation regarding the Kremenets records on our new IAJGS Conference page.
  • Sept. 4: My Shtetl: The Voice of Jewish Settlements”, a new Belorussian website, contains oral histories, family memories, photos and historic texts from the Minsk, Vitebsk and Mogilev regions of Belarus (Grodno, Brest and Gomel regions are still under construction).
  • May 30: Visitor-supplied photo albums and family trees are now available for viewing.
  • May 23: The Belarus SIG revives the Newsletter Spring 2016! Submit your photos, articles and success stories to sigbelarus@gmail.com.
