49324 Translation - German

7/13/2016 4:19 PM These are "Names" and "Occupations" from Jewish tax records in Lemberg, Austria-Hungary. The names are in legible Latin alphabet but the "Occupations" are written in old German (Kurrentschrift). I would appreciate knowing both the German words for the occupations and their English translations, so I can start to read these records myself. View the post with its 1 response

49310 Translation - Russian

7/13/2016 4:17 PM OK - record 240 (female) in the second row should be for my gg-grandmother Rachel Epstein (I accidentally posted the wrong page last week).

I know nothing about her except for her death date (listed as 5-Oct-1902 by her children), so a full translation would be appreciated.

A full translation would be highly appreciated (and I'm hoping will be a wonderful surprise for my cousin who has had a tough year!).

7/13/2016 4:17 PM I believe record number 661 (male) is for the youngest son of my great-great-grandfather Jacob Epstein.

I'd appreciate a full translation - this is the first record I've found that directly connects with him (and my gg-grandmother - whose name I'm not even sure about!).
